HS-1040: Incident Awareness, Response and Terrorism (CHS-IV)

CHS-IV course Prerequisites:

• Must pass CHS-III course and examination.
• Must pass FEMA IS-700 "National Incident Management System (NIMS)".
• Must pass FEMA IS-800.B "National Response Framework, An Introduction".
• Fax both FEMA course completion certificates to ABCHS at (417) 881-4702.

 

Enrolling in the CHS-IV online course:

1. Logon to the CHS members area.
2. Once logged in, there will be a message box indicating your current CHS level and a link to upgrade to the next level.  If you are already at CHS-III, the link will take you to the page to enroll into the CHS-IV course.
3. Complete all payment details and submit the order.
4. After order is approved, you will be at the certification page where you can simply click on "Begin" for the course to get started.
5. To resume the course later, log back into the CHS members area and select "CHS Certification".
6. Once you have completed the course, you will be able to see your results for your records.  A certificate will be issued by mail within 2-3 weeks.
