Cost: $40/person

See the best and the newest attractions in and around Las Vegas.  Your personal guide will show you the sights and sounds of the Great Desert Mecca. You will begin the tour on the Las Vegas Strip, where a guide will narrate the history and growth of the community. Stop at the Famous Las Vegas sign to take photos, the Saint Marks Square at the Venetian, and the Bellagio. At the Bellagio, you will see the Botanical Garden, a kaleidoscope of flowers fit for the season, and the Chocolate Fountains. Continue the tour downtown to experience “Fremont Street Experience Glitter Gulch,” showcasing the $70 million pedestrian mall. Here you will have plenty of time to stroll around the beautiful hotels and merchants. Next, take a drive through Chapel Row, where many a star has tied the knot.

Tour Option 2: Hoover Dam Tour, Friday, October 16th, 9:00am-1:00pm
Cost: $45/person

The construction of Hoover Dam tamed the mighty Colorado River and created Lake Mead, the world’s deepest man-made lake area and one of the greatest engineering projects ever accomplished. The dam was built during the Great Depression and is as tall as a 54-story building. As the tour approaches Hoover Dam, pass through Henderson, a city "born in America's defense" during World War II. The huge Basic Magnesium Plant supplied the U.S. War Department with magnesium, critical in the manufacture of munitions and airplane parts. A spectacular view of Lake Mead unfolds as you approach the dam. Hoover Dam is a testimony to a country's ability to construct monolithic projects in the midst of adverse conditions. Built during the Depression, thousands of men came to Black Canyon to tame the Colorado River. It took less than five years, in a harsh and barren land, to build the largest dam of its time. Built in the 1930s, the great dam was known for its engineering superlatives. Now, years later, Hoover Dam stands as a National Historic Landmark and has been rated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. Enjoy the spectacular view from the top of the dam, 725 feet above the Colorado River. Then take the Discovery Tour featuring a museum, theatre, and panoramic overlook of Lake Mead. The tour’s highlight is the trip down to the massive power plant. Large elevators descend 500 feet down into the wall of Black Canyon, where you are able to walk through the 250-foot long tunnel drilled out of rock and view the 650-foot long Nevada wing of the power plant and its eight huge generators.
